Kids Clothing Week: Day 3

Today I am doing a bit of a mass production of clothing.

20 dresses on the go, which will all be on their way to my favourite charity Dress a Girl Australia.

While I wont get these all completed today, I have made a decent start on them, and KCWC was exactly what I needed to motivate me to start.

Looks like day 5 will be continuing with dresses (have some embroidery planned for tomorrow as I'll be out most of the day)

Dress A Girl Around the World- Progress Update

It has been 6 months since I discovered Dress A Girl Around the World, and my desire to help this organisation has not faded.

Infact, in the last 6 months I have posted 6 parcels to Gigi- the organiser based in Sydney.
In total those parcels have contained 45 shorts and 112 dresses!

That is 157 children I have helped dress, and I could not be prouder!

I Dressed a Girl Around the World

When I saw this cause listed on a forum, I had a strong pull on the heart strings, and felt very compelled to help.

I have raided my stash numerous times, pulling out large bundles of fabrics to use.
I have also approached a few business friends, and am speechless at the generous donations of fabric and sewing notions I have received to help complete as many dresses and shorts as I possibly can!

I hope to help indefinitely, through donations, my own stash and purposely bought items.

I look forward to blessing more girls (and boys) with a beautiful dress or pair of shorts throughout this year and for as long as I can!
